Overwhelming Charismatic – The Revolution of the TV Age. Since IFA 2010 in Berlin, the subject 3D has been all the rage. New 3D television sets are being discussed; 3D glasses are donned by the viewers; and we are asking ourselves where all of this is heading. Simple: To Oldenburg. To Charisma Technologies, to be more precise. We became eyewitnesses of a new generation of products that has absolutely nothing (!) in common with television as we know it or with 3D films at the cinema. We are standing wide-eyed in front of a Chrisma flatscreen TV named "SLS", which – in less than 5 minutes – confronts us with the greatest challenge we could have ever imagined: „How can we explain a leap into the 22nd century to you?“

Charisma® fascinates the word of the super yachts. Two editors from “Boote Exklusiv – the Magazine of Super yachts” experienced the new Charisma® TVB System (50- and 60-inch screens) with the brand new MDS® Technology and the state-of-the-art picture standard HD-executive-Plus live. They watched current DVD and Blu-ray materials as well as films they had brought along. They couldn’t believe it: “Three-dimensional pictures with every signal source, every DVD and Blu-ray – and all without glasses! And pictures you could almost reach out and touch. The renowned magazine “Sat+Kabel” reported in its January and February issues about the current innovations and trends in consumer electronics in 2009. Featured: Charisma Technologies in Oldenburg. In his multiple-page article Editor Alexander Rösch determined impressively: “3-D is for television today what the Beatles were for the music world roughly 50 years ago. In quiet Oldenburg a television is being built that can – as if by magic – transform any picture source into an unbelievable picture in the truest sense of the word….The first and, up til now, most persistent impression was: WOW! Such a sharp picture so rich in contrast has not occurred in the hundreds of TV tests we have conducted. The painstaking search for picture aberrations was – to our frustration – fruitless: No unsharp contours, no ringing, no signal noise, no artefacts – only a picture that even with HD-DVD and Blu-ray doesn’t look so good….is the picture more realistic than than anything we have seen before. After a good 5 minutes this unbelievably lifelike picture seemed to cast a magic spell on the viewer and thus draw him more deeply into the story and nearer to the action…..If the slogan were not already taken, “a part of the action – not on the sideline” would be the perfect description.
